1/4 x 1-1/2in Stainless Steel Fender Washer

This fender washer has significantly more surface area than USS or SAE flat washers, and are made from a thinner gauge metal than most flat washers. Used where an extra wide bearing surface is required, the fender washer is designed for places that are subject to corrosion. The 18.8 stainless steel is made of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which is added to 0.8% carbon and roughly 50% iron. The added layer of chromium creates a barrier that's difficult for oxygen to penetrate, increasing its ability to avoid corrosion. SFEW14112188
