Commonly referred to as an Allen Bolt, this socket cap screw is an externally threaded fastener with unified threads, a cylindrical head with a flat chamfered top surface, knurled cylindrical sides and hexagonal recess. Provides greater tensile strength than equivalent sizes in hex cap screws while requiring less surface area. Made from alloy steel that conforms to the following chemical composition: 0.31% of Carbon, max of 0.04% Phosphorus, max of 0.045% Sulfur.
