3/4-10 x 6in Grade 8 Fully Threaded Hex Tap Bolt

This Grade 8 hex cap screw is commonly known as a Tap Bolt, made from medium carbon steel and threaded entirely up the bolt shaft to just under the head. Commonly used in automotive and fleet industries that need a stronger tensile strength than Grade 5. Bolts are heat treated (oil or water quenched) and tempered at a minimum temperature of 800 degrees (F). Proof load is 120,000 PSI with a minimum Yield Strength of 130,000 PSI and Tensile Strength of 150,000 PSI. Thread length is 2". TAPB346C8
