5/8-11 x 5in UNC Grade 8 Fully Threaded Hex Tap Bolt

This Grade 8 hex cap screw is commonly known as a Tap Bolt, made from medium carbon steel and threaded entirely up the bolt shaft to just under the head. Commonly used in automotive and fleet industries that need a stronger tensile strength than Grade 5. Bolts are heat treated (oil or water quenched) and tempered at a minimum temperature of 800 degrees (F).
